I was so unsure about this book when I first started it. To be quite honest, I didn’t think I was going to like it. Maybe it was because I had just come off of such a high after reading Take a Hint, Dani Brown that I thought no other book would compare. (Seriously, great book. 5 stars and definitely recommend.) Despite all of my skepticism, I’d heard so many good reviews and since I had already checked it out from the library, the least I could do was actually read it. Let me just say: this book completely surprised me.

I thought it was going to be a cute little romance. Something light and fluffy to read… Fluffy was definitely the wrong word. This book was so much more explicit than I thought it was going to be. I think I was fooled by the cute cover art. It’s not one of those books where the explicit scenes overpower the plot (I’m looking at you, Den of Vipers). I’d describe it as more tastefully sprinkled around.

This was such a fun read. I really enjoyed it and is one of the few books I would actually consider rereading! If I had purchased this book before borrowing it from the library, I’d consider it well worth the money. There’s a pretty high chance I’m actually going to be purchasing a copy soon.
