2.75 stars-Umm..well that’s not what I was expecting, I don’t hate the book necessarily but parts of it made me realy uncomfortable(ahem ahem). While I admire the fact that the author brings a taboo topic into the light- A high spectrum autistic woman, I however wish there is more emphasis on that in the book like how Stella realizes she is good enough but it throw light on intimacy more which made me really uncomfortable.
Maybe it’s just me?but the characters were not believable or relatable at all, its like watching a cheesy TV Soap. Nonetheless it’s a good quick pick me up for a summer read or like a palette cleanser to read in between something heavy.One thing for sure is that I wouldn’t categorize it as contemporary or romance- Well I don’t know how to put a genre on it ,however I appreciate the "Self voice" concept🤷🏻♀️
