I was super excited to read this one and perhaps that was the caveat that made me a bit disappointed. I was so drawn to the book having characters where the main protagonist was Stella Lane with Asperger's and Michael Phan being half Asian. I also appreciated a storyline that I've definitely felt like I'd seen before, but with the gender roles reversed. It was refreshing to see that the dude was the escort and that Stella had the autonomy of her own sexual history to be able to make the decision to hire Michael as an escort.
Where my disappointment came from was mostly due to how I felt like the author could have gone deeper with the subjects and plot presented. It felt like most pages were just scratching the surface when I definitely was anticipating more.
