I LOVED everything about this book! The author captured my attention with the first 2 chapters and held my attention throughout the book. I enjoyed seeing the progression of the relationship between Stella and Michael. I think the author did a good job portraying the things that Stella sometimes struggled with and how she and Michael navigated some of the social situations they encountered. I appreciated the way that Michael was able to expose Stella to new experiences and that he did it with sensitivity in most situations. I also really enjoyed when Stella learned about Michael’s real life and the scenes with his family. I liked that Stella and Michael connected to each other on a variety of things, things that most authors don’t do with their couples in most of the romance books I’ve read (e.g., their love of tailored clothes and martial arts movies). I loved that their relationship helped them both find the motivation to get out of their comfort zone and do the things that they didn’t think were possible for them to do. A few minutes ago, I went back to the book to check on a detail that I wasn’t sure about it and I ended up rereading parts of the book and experiencing those same giddy feelings and happiness that I experienced when I read this book the first time. I honestly can’t think of anything that I didn’t like about this book!
