The book follows Stella as she hires and escort to teach her how to be intimate, as she believes she needs this in order to have an adult relationship. However, she learns a lot more about what it means to be in a relationship.
I loved this book so much! The love story, the characters, the representation. Just so so so much good in this. This is not a book that fits the mold. Each of the characters are flawed, which makes them more relatable and realistic. The author really just treats her characters with love and respect.
The only thing stopping me from giving it 5 stars is there was a couple times when she would disrupt her great writing with silly phrases that just annoy me. I don't remember exactly what these phrases were, but they were along the lines of "footstep behind me lead me to believe he followed me." (Not a quote from the book, just an example of the few times she had bad writing.)
All in all, I really loved this and will be reading more of her books!
