Oh boy, this book made me blush so much. Michael Phan, you have officially been added to my list of book boyfriends.

After being told by her coworker that guys like girls with experience, Stella hires an escort to show her how to please men in bed, and, more importantly, how to enjoy sex herself. You see, being autistic, Stella hates being touched, and therefore hates sex. However, that slowly starts to change as her escort, my aforementioned new book boyfriend Michael, shows her not only what it's like to have great sex, but also what it's like to be loved and cherished by another person.

I really enjoyed this book. Initially, I was weary when I heard that this book was written from the POV of a person with autism because I feared I wouldn't be able to relate to it, but I ended up loving it. Stella is such a lovable character, and, as a person with incredibly high social anxiety myself, her disorder only made her feel that much more relatable.

Ah, Michael. You have so many issues, but you are so wonderful. Having been an escort for 3 years, Michael has slept with his fair share of ladies. On top of that, he has a plethora of family issues going on. He has every reason to be a bitter jerk--his life has sucked. However, Michael is caring and sweet, and he treats Stella like a queen throughout the book.

I have seen people's reviews in which they complained that the romance of the book was not at all realistic and they're probably right, but if you're looking for a realistic book, you should probably move out of the romance genre. Romance books are meant to be these unimaginable, too-good-to-be-true love stories, not stories of how Joe Schmoe met Simple Sally. Sit back, pick up this book, and enjoy its feel-good writing and highly blush-worthy scenes. Don't over analyse the story itself because you'll never enjoy it that way.
