I'd forgotten hearing about the basic premise of the novel--that our Aspy heroine hires an escort to work out her issues--so I was surprised that so much of this is sexual. There was so much sex stuff in this, in fact, that I wondered if this wasn't largely mining the same audience as those "Fifty Shades Of Grey" books. Personally, I'd be happy for "romances" to not get into so much detail about who did what and how "delicious" it was.

I was also surprised by some of the later sex stuff because I thought, "wait, didn't they already do all this stuff, yet they're talking like it's their first time?" So apparently, richly fulfilling sexual encounters and living together don't count as being a couple until it's required for "The Big Sex Scene(s)" later in a novel.

Anyway, I enjoyed the silly fun of the novel and the details of the characters and their tastes in Korean films, Vietnamese family culture, etc. Naturally, our escort has a Heart Of Gold, and, yes, some financial details made me shed a tear towards the end. I'm, like, s-o-o-o sentimental!
