"The Kiss Quotient" is a really stellar book about love in unexpected places. Stella is a talented econometrician and self-sufficient modern woman who happens to have autism (low on the spectrum). After hearing from her parents that they would like some grandchildren and from a coworker that maybe the reason she doesn't like sex is a lack of experience, Stella decides she needs to do something about it. Stella picks out an escort to teach her about sex.

Michael has been escorting on the side to help pay for his mother's medical bills. After an obsessed client, he only takes single sessions so they can't get too attached. However, his latest client is something different, and he finds himself breaking his rules to continue to spend time with her. Told in alternating points-of-view, this book will make you fall in love with these two amazing characters.

The best parts of the book are that although the main character has autism, it isn't the definition of the book- she just happens to have autism, but it doesn't define her character. Also, although she is reluctant to reveal it to Michael for what he'll think, she isn't the only one "hiding" something- Michael has his own secret that he is afraid to reveal. Taken together, it all seems so much more natural. Add to this the fact that book is really the way to do consent right, and you really have a winner. The characters- even the side characters of Michael's family- are absolutely lovable, and I couldn't help but to fall in love with this amazing book!

I absolutely think this one will be a big winner- it's romantic, oh-so-steamy and absolutely charming! I highly recommend to anyone who loves romance novels. You won't regret giving this gem a try!

Please note that I received an ARC from the publisher through bookish first. All opinions are my own.
