Most of my professional work has been with children on the Autism Spectrum and I have a nephew on the spectrum as well. So I really appreciated the main character being on the spectrum (specifically Asperger's) and the fact that this was an own voices novel made it even better. I think it is so important for different representation to be seen in many different genres.
This representation is great to have and the fact that it was a steamy romance made it so interesting. I really liked the dynamics between Stella and Michael. Michael is a sexy character, but is such a good guy deep down. I couldn't help, but root for him the entire time. It was nice to see Khai added as well so Michael had a better understanding of Stella from the beginning. Such a fun and steamy romance to read.
