Different take on classic rom-com
This book was great! The romance was definitely on the spicy side, which is not usually my cup of tea, but I enjoyed the characters so much that didn't bother me. It was refreshing to see a romance that shows the vulnerable side of the male lead with the woman being the less expressive one through most of the story.
I also really appreciated the depiction of an autistic protagonist who is portrayed as a layered, whole person instead of just that one aspect of her. It wasn't a book about autism or disability, but rather a feature within these diverse characters. The portrayal seemed very genuine, which is a credit to the author reflecting on her own experience. I would recommend this book to anyone looking for a good romance!
