While you kind of know all along how this will end up, it's a great rom-com read. It's light, it's easy, but it really gives an accurate portrayal of what it is like living with autism. It was a different twist on a typical romantic novel, which I really enjoyed.
The characters are well developed and the reader gets to truly understand autism. Often books stigmatize autism, but this does not. I enjoy it when authors take a standard rom-com (you know the formula, they meet, they fall in love, there is a conflict, they end up back together) and add a twist. In this case, Stella needs a tutor in order to learn how to be romantic with someone. She goes about this in unconventional ways, which are both cringe-worthy and amusing. It's a nice, light read.
