I am not a romance reader. That is, I was not a romance reader until Helen Hoang wrote The Kiss Quotient. I picked this up because of the buzz that it was getting and because I was participating in a readathon that had a challenge to read outside of your comfort zone. I am glad that I did.
The sex scenes are descriptive; more than I was expecting. Again, I do not typically read romance so I guess I did not know what I was getting myself into. And I quickly learned that this was tame for this genre. I guess this is where my limit lies.
The story itself had a great plot. We get introduced to a female character that you cannot help but adore and a male character you wish you had been hit on at least once in your life. Stella and Michael are my favorite fictional couple.
