A wonderful unapologetic look at autism and love

I wanted this book before I read a sample. The sample had me convinced I needed to read it. I am mom to two boys with high functioning autism, a voracious reader, and a lover of romance books. I read this is one sitting. The author’s portrayal of Stella was absolute perfection. The book did have some ego and misunderstandings that I found frustrating but they fit with Stella’s autism and Michael’s insecurities and only enhanced the story. The story had steamy scenes that were incredibly well done. Michael stole my heart from the first page. I adored his family, and Stella’s reaction to his grandmother. I liked Stella’s vulnerability mixed with her competence. She did an amazing job of representing how people with high functioning autism react in society.
