Helen Hoang writes a steamy and charming book with The Kiss Quotient. It's a perfect beach read, but it'll do well for a rainy day home as well. Stella Lane is most comfortable in her world of data analysis and numbers. Where she's not as comfortable is with human relationships and love. To remedy this, she hires Michael Phan to help her decode the mystery. The trouble begins when things go off script and it doesn't go according to her carefully calculated plans.
Hoang deftly depicts neurodiversity in her lead character Stella, which is refreshing. Stella is strong and capable. This is a great addition to the chick lit world.
