for most of this book i thought it was gonna be a five star read. the characters were both wonderfully complex and flawed and i loved seeing them both develop over the course of the novel. the plot was super fast-paced and instantly hooked me in. the chemistry between Stella and Michael was amazing. i really related to Stella in a lot of ways and it’s always super wonderful to see yourself in a character so that made me super happy.

my main complaint was how much of the last 1/4 of the book was driven by misunderstandings. misunderstanding/miscommunication plot lines tend to bother me because the characters get annoying and their thoughts get repetitive and overall i was rolling my eyes at both of them every five seconds. i just think i would’ve been able to enjoy the ending more of there was more driving the plot than michael and stella’s insecurities and miscommunication.

i don’t think i’ve ever passionately hated a character the way i hate Phillip? and the fact that he just got to walk away all happy with that random office assistant pissed me off so much.

overall i really enjoyed and would recommend The Kiss Quotient and i wanna read the rest of the trilogy. it was a super cute, sexy story and it made me laugh out loud a bunch of times :)
