I really wanted to enjoy this one. I loved the premise of two friends living out their own Ferris Bueller's Day Off as they grapple with the reality that one friend is moving away. Unfortunately, this one never felt like it went anywhere. I was bored by their activities and day that seemed to go wrong.

I also had a hard time distinguishing our two leading characters as their voices and characteristics felt too similar -- I kept pausing to try and recall who was who and by the end I kept having to remind myself if it was Harrison or Linus who was even leaving.

I did appreciate the diverse representation across all the characters. I also liked that the characters were able to have open conversations with their parents and one another in the end, but it wasn't enough to save the story for me.

Overall it had good promise but is not one I'd widely recommend.
