“His life was disappearing into boxes, and one of the first things to get taken off the shelf and boxed up was any say he had over what was happening to him.” Linus and Harrison built a friendship at a very young age all to have it torn apart when they were separated following a divorce. As teenagers they reunited again, enjoying each other’s jokes and energy. Then the unthinkable happens, another move! “We have the power to lift the sky, to change the world.” Will these two friends be able to formulate a plan to remain friends at a distance?

This book was slow to start for me. Once I got deeper into the first chapter it was clear to me the type of friendship that Harrison and Linus shared. I enjoyed how the author explained their friendship from the beginning. Using the pandemic and zoom as part of the story line made me chuckle. That is exactly what is happening in the world today and it made this story more realistic for the time setting. I believe many teenagers/young adults could relate to this storyline. I think this book will be great for the middle school library. The cover is bright and full of energy, definitely catching the eye at first glance.
