Two Black teenage queer boys having an epic last day before they are going to be moved away from each other? Sign me up! It’s so good to see books about young Black boys experiencing joy and normal typical things besides racism and police brutality. I say this as a Black woman. We need more joyful books. I’m really excited to read this debut author and hopefully find me a nice summer read in the process.
