"The Kingdom of Liars" is a rather interesting start to the "The Legacy of the Mercenary Kings" series by Nick Martell and a rather well done debut work. I think I, like many people, were drawn in to reading this through the excellent cover art. I found myself really interested in the plot and the characters so I managed to get through it pretty fast.
I found the world to be well created. It has such interesting characters and world building. It’s definitely something I can say I found myself liking more than I thought I would in the end. While some parts of it definitely came across as a bit sloppily done and difficult to get through, I think the overall plot made up for it. I really can’t wait to read more from this series.
