I was super excited and thrilled to win a copy of The Kingdom Of Liars, which is the debut book in a new series. I really loved the concept of this book, but I think it lacked a proper plot line. The first half of this book was very slow, especially being high fantasy, but the second half was amazing. I just think a lot is going on, which I love in any fantasy book, but I need explanations. I really thought the magic system was very unique, but I think it needed to be expanded more. I understand that starting a new fantasy series, usually the first book is full of information which is understandable. The Kingdom of Liars just felt like an overwhelming amount of random information, and not enough of the important information that was needed.
I do have to say I really did enjoy this book in the second half. I think with each book the world building and the plot itself will make more sense and be a fantastic fantasy.
