Fantastic Beasts and How to TAME THEM INTO YOUR PANTS
This book is like... Fantastic Beasts, Assassin's Creed, and Pokemon (dont @ me)..and I LOVE IT.
I totally thought this would be another cheesy paranormal romance, but the story is well written, the romance isn't insta-love (others may disagree), and the villain/antagonist is believable. There is at least some lusting, rejection, and many, many pages before we see some satisfaction.
The main group of characters have a bond that could be compared to A Court of Thorns and Roses's Inner Circle, based on their characterizations and banter.
The magic system and world building is well done, as well. I was concerned how the magic system would work with beast taming and "capturing/collecting" the beasts. The explanation in the book fits within the world and isn't too far-fetched.
Recommended and I'm eagerly awaiting the next two books!
