Kingdom of Exiles by Maxym M. Martineau is a wonderful tale with plenty of magic, suspense, amazing creatures, and a romance that had me swooning with all the feels. I really enjoyed reading this book and instantly fell in love with this world.
This book had me captivated and hooked from the start. I enjoyed the breathtaking world-building, the excellent writing, the intriguing and complex characters, and all the fascinating beasts. Aside from the romance, the magical beasts most definitely had me enthralled and I loved learning about them all. With a fast-paced plot filled with action, humor, twists, and do many fun moments, this story had me glued to the pages and I devoured everything about this book with a huge smile on my face.
I absolutely loved the characters. Leena and Noc made me heart ache. I thought the brotherhood between the assassins was so endearing. I love the friendships that came to be and of course the romance. I enjoyed the playful bantering, the drama, the sweet moments and just... I really loved reading this book. Highly highly recommend this one.
