I love how this is written, switching the viewpoint/narrator between, as of now, Leena and Noc. I get the feeling that the Charmer’s Law is going to play a big part in the story, since it was mentioned multiple times in relatively few pages. I want to know more about the Cruor and about the beasts; what they can do and what makes the different classes different. And I want to know more about Leena’s story.
