As if that the colors of the cover were not enough to grab my attention, this was thrown in as well. I adore the opening page of the book and think it was a very nice touch. The idea of the story also reminds me of Snow White and the Huntsman, adding to my level of intrigue even more. So let me check with the things I enjoy in a story. Badass female lead? Check. Magic? Check. Fantastical elements and possibly learning about new mystical creatures? Check. I need this book.
