I wouldn't be cheering for this romance to succeed, I'm not willing to wait around and see if Penrod comes to view Amber as anything but a pretty ornament that can enhance his standing in society. Amber's character wasn't believable at all, a ridiculous combination of delicate naivete that persists despite intense hardship.
