BOOKISH FIRST REVIEW
This book is beautiful. The beginning of the book really sets the mood well. It reads like a teen diary and I like that writing style. I'm a sucker for a good queer coming of age story. I am able to really connect with the characters and am excited to see it be further developed throughout the story. The main character is really funny. It feels as though we are reading about an actual teenager that exists today, which is something that can be missing from a lot of books. I was excited to see the cussing, and am excited to read the rest of this book. This book deals with difficult topics in an amazing way. This books discussions about feminism and queerness are really important. The difference between "white feminism vs intersection feminism" is discussed in a really important way. I think that this will be a five star read for me. I cannot wait to finish this book.
