I loved this book so much. I loved the writing style, the character development and overall the great way the author was able to be relatable. Juliet starts out as a timid character and truly learns about herself throughout the story. I loved reading everything she was going through and her viewpoints and identity was beautifully written. As a white women reading this book, it helped me explore my bias and ask hard questions about race while also embracing empowerment. I honestly love this book so much that I’m going to recommend it to pretty much everyone I know. I cannot day enough good things about this book. The writing style was so relatable that I was so lost in the story I didn’t want it to end!
