There is not a lot of YA fiction that includes characters that are homosexual, especially characters that are homosexual and Puerto Rican. Enter Juliet. She has a little bit of sass and there is plenty of profanity and vulgarity in the early excerpt. However, this does look intriguing as YA fiction.
