Okay so, I’m not a fan of the cover of the title but, my first impression was a bit better than expected given those two set backs! As someone who is part of the LGBT community and white it’s very sparse to find representation for myself, let alone an LGBT POC. So I’m already glad this book exists because someone somewhere is going to need to read it and they’ll be able to feel less alone. It invokes feelings that I haven’t confronted in a while, and I’m interested to see where all this leads.
