Juliet Takes a Breath was well-written, but it wasn't the book for me. I thought the main character was a little angry for my taste. That doesn't mean she didn't have things to be angry about — there's boys in her neighborhood that are trashy jerks, and her local supermarket is pretty bad — but she's not really a character I want to spend an entire book with. That being said, the book was descriptive and drew me in, and I think there are some people who will love it.
