Holy cow. The book I didn't know I needed in my life. Girl power, lesbian power, Latina power. I am here for every single sentence in this book. As a white straight woman, I am well aware of every ounce of my privilege...and I can't help eating up these stories of powerful beautiful woman over coming odds and finding strength. It will never be something I EVER have to fight for but I am so proud of all woman who do fight for it; even if I wish whole heartedly that didn't have to. If the biggest way I can give support is to read and cherish every story of a strong woman fighting back against oppression, then I will gobble that shit up! Bring forth more "I am brown woman here me fucking roar!" I'm here for you girl!
