The cover is very sweet, but doesn't do this story justice. I loved reading Maya's story and learning about her character as she struggles with the loss of her father. I think the author did a great job conveying the raw emotions that come with loss with Maya's frank, observant attitudes towards some characters. I would love to read the rest of her story!
