What I liked about this story is the reader is immediately immersed with a father's death, the reading of his will, and the blended family that needs to abide by his requests. Maya, Dad's biological daughter, is asked to share their family home with her younger sister, Ryder, and stepmother, Jeanie, the stepmother being the problem. They have never gotten along. I'm want to know how they work through their differences and get on with their lives.
