You can feel so much tension within the first few chapters and I am here for it! Family drama, childhood pain, death, life - there is such a little bit of everything. I look forward to seeing what Ryder is hiding, if Maya and Jeanie can ever mend the fences, what Maya's will look like as she battles her grief. Having lost my father at about the same age as Maya, I am very much a part of her story and journey.
