Another Fantastic novel featuring DC Jack Warr. The first book in this series, Buried, was amazing and this sequel was just as good. The author has a way of keeping you on the edge of your seat twirling around with unexpected twists and turns. The plot was bold with devious characters. I love the personal side of Jack Warr. He has a soft side and bends at the knees for his wife and daughter. He isn’t exactly a rule follower but that’s what I love about his character. He isn’t afraid to complete the job in any capacity to fulfill closing a case. This book was written with a good pace and didn’t lack any details. It had a great build up to the climax. This book was exciting and you almost felt emotions with the characters as your traveling through the book. The author did a great job with this. I am really hoping there is a book to follow. I can’t get enough of Jack Warr and I do not want this story to end.
