A lot has been described or taken place in the first couple of chapters. Two young boys have stumbled onto a corpse in the river. A burglar has been apprehended using methodology from a burglar captured at an earlier time with help from a detective from that case. We’ve been given some background information about Jack and his family of Marge and Penny. I’m not exactly sure where the author is taking this story.
