I grew up loving “Little Women”. I use to get up every morning before my parents to watch the version with Winona Ryder all through fifth grade. I slept very little but it was worth the calm and joy that film gave me. Also, never liked Laurie much. To marry someone because he needs to be part of someone’s is plain disgusting. So I hadn’t much interest in this story but I do enjoy the author’s other works and that cover just has to live on my shelf so I gave it a chance (here where it is free). To my surprise, I greatly enjoyed the writing and the part of the story I read. It is witty and full of depth. I will most likely be purchasing a copy for my bookshelf. And yes the cover has a great deal to with it. I just want to stare at it because it is so pretty but the words inside are nice too.
