I used 2,000 of my points to get the Young Adult title, Jo & Laurie by Melissa de la Cruz and Margaret Stohl.
The second the raffle started, at 11:00 pm on that Sunday I automatically requested this novel. I had saved up nearly 5,000 points waiting for the first book that I automatically wished to win and this was it!
I loved listening to Little Women via audiobook and as a lover of retellings (my blog is called Obsessed with Fairy Tales) I knew I wanted to read this one.
This was months ago that I used my points on this Penguin Teen title that I was so excited to read and I never received a copy. I understand that the reason behind this was not the fault of Bookishfirst or the publisher because of the current pandemic but it is disappointing that I never got a chance to read and review this title.
The novel came out on June 2 and I've decided to purchase my own title or get it from the library.
