At first, I was hesitant to read this. I’m a fan of Little Women and I didn’t know if I would like this book. I’m glad I gave it a try, because it creatively provided a way for the title characters to be together without changing the events of the source material. The romance is cute, and the characters were recognizable. Jo is still opinionated and speaks her mind, something I was worried about when approaching the book. Laurie is shown to be the child of opportunity who needs a little guidance. I also like the way this book addresses Jo’s grief over Beth’s death. Jo’s grieving process and her decision to choose to live makes a point I will take with me. I recommend it! I can see how some people wouldn’t like it, and it requires an open mind. It’s fun.
