It wasn't bad! It was fun to revisit with characters that feel like old friends. A reimagined world for these characters was a great distraction in a world that has gone a little mad. Did it take me a bit to shed my predispositions about the characters? Yes, I admit it did. But when it came right down to it, Jo & Laurie was an enjoyable read.

This book also assumes that the books of Little Women are fiction written by Jo March and what is written in Jo & Laurie is "real life."
