not too bad if you ask me! i understand why some people were upset about these two characters being put together but cmon its all in good fun. i love the friendship between jo and laurie in the original and i love this little twist. Almost like its a parallel universe of what could have been. i dont think this takes away from the character of Jo, she is still independant motivated and original in her time. she's still passionate about writing, now she just has laurie at her side. i thought it was a fun take on a classic and mostly reminded me of fan fiction. the classic will always be better and its important to stress that its ok for a girl and a boy to just be FRIENDS. but why not play with the what ifs? anyways if you're not super serious about the original you'll have fun with this one, just try not to think about it too much.
