I'll admit, I was very skeptical when I read the synopsis. I was wondering why someone would change the Jo and Laurie arc to Alcott's perfectly written ending. But after reading the short preview, I can't deny that I was pretty intrigued. After reading the preview I now understand that the authors weren't trying to write cheap fan-fiction riding off the coattails on the 2019 movie, they were trying to write the possibly of what if. Which is actually quite impressive. I read stories where the Phantom of the Opera ending up with Christine, Prince Charming ending up with the redeemed step-sister, and even Hansel ending up with the witch who originally wanted to eat him. This story is a work if fiction, and I think it sounds like a very fun read.
