Ms. Stohl and Ms. De La Cruz have done a remarkable rendering of the voice and character of Ms. Alcott’s Jo March. I was easily transported back to the time of the late 1800s when the story of Little Women was being written. The idea of a middle book between the writing of Alcott’s two books serves to give the reader more insight to perhaps the struggles Louisa was going through as a writer and all the attention her writing was attracting. I think many fans of Little Women would enjoy reading this book.
