I have been very excited for the release of this book. I know that Louis May Alcott didn't write Laurie and Jo to be together because she "won't marry Jo to Laurie to please everyone" but I always wanted them too. Maybe because I love the best friends to lovers and the "boy next door" tropes but I always thought they had more chemistry than Jo and Bhaer. So I am very excited to see the journey of Jo and Laurie. From what I have read of the beginning I know it is going to be good. I love romance and am also so glad that Margaret Stohl and Melissa de la Cruz are not just focusing on Jo and Laurie for the book but also keeping the sister element alive. The writing in the portion that I got to read it witty, playful, and fun. I know it is going to be a phenomenal read and I really hope to win.
