A classic like Little Women is hard to add to, but I knew these ladies could do it in a unique way - Melissa & Margaret write some of my fangirl favorite characters. I enjoyed this particular interpretation of the familiar characters that joined us in Jo & Laurie, and how it fit right into the originals timing, but am not sure how I feel about this particular fan fiction.
Well written with effortless ease, I was quickly immersed into this title. What I loved most about this was the quick and witty conversation between characters, while still giving enough details that as a reader gave me the full picture. I just didn’t think it worked for Jo’s otherwise anti boy vibes in the original classic.
