Initial thoughts: I love the cover! A great throw-back. I also was intrigued to see how these two authors would write together. I've read some of Margaret Stohl's works before and have heard and been intrigued by Melissa de la Cruz but haven't gotten to hers yet. I'm always interested in a writing duo and how they're able to combine their thoughts and passion into one cohesive story!
The first look we're given here draws you right in to the beloved story you may have grown up with whether through the book or various movies and it's timely as the latest remake of a Little Women film was just recently released. I thought the first chapter did a great job of just grabbing you right away. I always loved Jo's character (I'm guessing that's probably true of a lot of bookworms) and her attitude so the chance for a new look into her life and mind was exciting for me!
I'm eager to try this one out when it debuts!
