The reason that I originally started reading this book was because the cover. Yes yes I know you’re not supposed to judge a book by it’s cover but all the bright colors, pretty flowers, and 2 hummingbirds were just hard to resist. They all tie in perfectly with the title. As soon as you open the book to chapter 1, the author does something I haven't seen done very often. She starts with the guy's story and point of view which was very interesting. I’ve always wondered why most books were from the girls perspective so it was very interesting and exciting getting to start with the guys perspective.
There's not much of a wait between the beginning and the point at which the 2 main characters meet. You're immediately brought along for the ride, much like Luis is. The characters are very well developed and the chemistry between the 2 main characters keeps you turning pages. You're invested in the characters fairly quickly and you wonder how this will all go.
I highly recommend this book to romance lovers!
