I am always ready for a romantic read. After reading the summary I knew this was a book I wanted to pick up. Social media influencer Sara Vance, in recovery from an eating disorder, is coming into her own, with a potential career expansion on the horizon. Despite the good news, her successful siblings (and their perfect spouses) have a way of making her feel like the odd one out. So, when her unreliable boyfriend is a no-show for a Florida family vacation, Sara recruits Luis Navarro—a firefighter paramedic and dive captain willing to play the part of her smitten fiancé . . .
I mean fake relationship is one of my favorite tropes and this story delivered. Read this in one day and what a fun vacation book. It was so nice to have a read to take me to Key West, made a pina colada to go along with the read.
I liked the couple but absolutely loved the family. If/when there is a squeal I will most definitely pick it up.
Recommend as a go-to beach read.
