A fun and light, but ultimately ridiculous read. The setting was perfect but the plot was so over-the-top and made me laugh out loud. I thought some of the dialogue was awkward and stilted, and I really disliked how the author described one of the character's eating disorders, yet also devoted a lot of text to that same character's body. It felt unnecessary and wrong. It also felt like it could be a trigger to anyone reading this book who has experienced or is currently experiencing an eating disorder, and I really did not like that either.

This was a good read during quarantine, but I normally would have abandoned it early on. Thank you to the publisher for a free advance copy in exchange for an honest review.
