I was a little nervous about what I would think of this book. Mostly I was concerned that Sara's eating disorder (part of the book description, so not a spoiler) was going to take this book in tougher directions than I wanted to go. While it was a part of the story, it never became the story. It became part of who Sara is and really highlighted the skills she learned in recovery. For me the start was a little slow (first 20%ish), but the further I got into the story, the less I wanted to put it down.

Sara is going on a command family vacation where the main goal is to make everything easy and enjoyable for her mom. Sara's older (13 year gap!) and accomplished siblings are both married. Sara feels it's important for her to seem grounded, so, when her boyfriend cancels, she panics. Fortunately Luis is right there (literally) and willing to rescue her and be her pretend boyfriend for the week of the vacation. And what a week it is- lots of steamy sparks (and flames) and a real connection grew between Sara and Luis that was lovely to watch. Both have some history to sort through and they complement each other in a really nice way. They also both have families that are fun to get to know and likable- I am looking forward to the next book in the series! An extra bonus is all the sunshine and water in Key West. This was armchair traveling at its best!
